Dr. Sheburra A. Haugsness is the founder of AUM. She has spent most of her adult career as an influential K-8 educator of the Clark County School District (CCSD) in Las Vegas, Nevada. Her Master of Arts (MA) is focused in Curriculum and Instruction. This credential was put in action not only in the classrooms, but pushed to its limits when Dr. Haugsness joined the Peace Corp voluntarily in 2011.

Together with other American volunteers, she worked with the Botswana Ministry of Education to help implement their Life Skill curriculum. Which focuses on Youth Advocacy and Health (combating the HIV/AIDS epidemic)in their school system.

When she arrived back in the states Sheburra completed her Phd in Educational Psychology with emphasis on technology integration with math pedagogy (art of teaching) in 2018.

She snapped into a spiritual awakening after experiencing extreme physical and emotional adversity. Which jump started her quest to better understand metaphysics. She became a certified spiritual practitioner from the University of Metaphysics in 2020. Since then, she has mentored people of all ages through her Inner Peace Guidance platform.

The world pandemic rapidly influenced her faith in one day opening an academy. She visioned where educators and learners would have the liberty to openly embrace the source energy of life itself. All while nurturing youth to become healthy, productive, and happy members of society. She began meeting more like-hearted souls along the way to making AUM possible.
